This project consisted of finding a book that was published no later than 1980.
The book I found is called “Posters & Sign Work for Beginners” and was published
in 1939. It gives instructions and exercises for an inexperienced artist to create
engaging and stylized imagery and text for businesses, events and activities. The
goal was to transform this book in a contemporary context both in print and digital
(e-book). I completed the exercises in the book with the contemporary medium; Adobe
software. Through the e-book translation, it involved coding the pages using HTML and CSS.
